Margeaux Hodgson-Garms
Monash University, VIC, Australia
- This delegate is presenting an abstract at this event.
Margeaux (they/them) received their bachelor’s degree in Cell Biology and Genetics from James Cook University (QLD) in 2014, and their honours degree from La Trobe University (VIC) in 2015. During her honours degree they investigated mechanisms of acquired resistance to FGFR inhibition in FGFR driven bladder cancer at the Olivia Newton John Cancer Research Institute. In 2016 they accepted a job at the Australian Regenerative Medicine Institute where they focused on transcription factor-mediated reprogramming and pursued a long-term interest in stem cell biology and transdifferentiation. In 2023 they completed a PhD as part of the Regenerative Medicine in Industry Interface and Monash University’s department of Materials Science and Engineering. Their PhD focused on comparative characterisation of multipotent mesenchymal stromal/stem cells (MSCs) from various sources including iPSC-derived MSCs.
