Sara Alaei is a research fellow at Australian Regenerative Medicine institute (ARMI), Monash University. She completed her bachelor and master of science in Microbiology in 2009 in Iran and she received her PhD under supervision of A/Prof Jose Polo in 2016 from Monash University. Her PhD focused on dynamics of transcription factor targeting and chromatin state during reprogramming of somatic cells. Now, she aims to uncover the molecular mechanism of hematopoietic stem cell induction in zebrafish, in Prof. Peter Currie laboratory.
