CONFERENCE APP
The meeting this year will have a free Smartphone/Mobile Device ‘App’ that will allow you to:
• view the abstracts, program and authors
• save your favourite sessions
• take notes which will then be saved and downloaded from your registration profile.
It is displayed in a simple and easy to read format on your phone, iPad or laptop. To access the ‘App’, please open the link http://genome-2017.m.asnevents.com.au/ through the internet on your phone, iPad or laptop. You will be prompted to add an icon onto your device desktop. Please visit the registration desk if you have any questions.
INTERNET ACCESS
There will be free internet access for conference delegates available upon arrival in the conference areas. The access code is GENOME2017 and has been set up to be used by 1 device per person. Because of this, delegates need to log out of the first device before logging onto the second device in order to prevent an overload on the server.
If you require internet in your accommodation room this will be an additional charge that you will need to settle the account with the hotel directly.
PARENTS VIEWING ROOM
The Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research will again be supporting parents with young children attending the Lorne Conferences in 2017. They will make an overflow room (Heritage Room 3) available as a viewing room for parents with children. The room will have space for activities and play for children while parents will be able to listen to the presentations with the same AV projection. The Lorne Genome Committee once again applauds this initiative.
